At least two of the larger brands in toys have quality and safety problem with the toys they sell. Like the food company's recently experienced, the sourced materials they buy (on price) have come up short on the quality scale. The comical part is the legal positioning going on trying to publicly place their blame on China for a subbed portion of their own manufacturing process.

Anybody that understands the manufacturing process understands that ONLY the toy companies are to blame. When one manufacture subs out (made to spec) parts to another manufacture they are supposed to inspect the parts for material compliance prior to accepting the shipments. This is part of their process. To think that these companies that promote their product to our children neglects to perform this basic ( mfg 101) step in the process puts all their product in question. It doesn't matter if it was subbed out to someone in China, EU, Mexico or Lenny & Sqiggies Machine shop in Dumbland, Indiana, if companies like these toy manufactures neglects this important step our children are at risk with any item they sell.

This is a lesson to all citizens, you usually get what you pay for. When their customer pressures the price down they are constantly in a position to cut cost. In this environment all products are suspect for safety. This is also a lesson to all US manufactures on how the China's work. All companies in China are owned by the communist government who have manufacturing coordinators that work with all their companies sharing not only skills, process's, but also material resources. PAINT ?
Even if all products made in china has lead paint on them you still have to hold the manufacture here responsible.

And That is the National Word !
